New Paddlers
Lots of new paddlers at the Try Out day. So if you discovered what a great sport outrigging is make sure you come along to one of our training sessions.

Moffats to Mooloolaba
Sunday July 29th. Meet 6:30 am at The Swamp
OK let's go have some fun and do something different.
The down hill run from Moffats is always a lot of fun. So here's the deal. The paddle is open to OC1, OC2 and OC6 (X 4) canoes with a 7:30 am start time at Moffats. OC6 paddlers you must come to the swamp on Thursday July 26th from 4:30 onwards to load up the canoes and nominate yourself to be in an OC6. All OC6 canoes MUST have 6 paddlers.
Everyone meet at the swamp at 6:30 am. Carpooling organize cars to go down to Moffats. Leave a change of clothes and something to eat and drink at the swamp for when you get back. Travel down to Moffats and unload and rig canoes. 7:30 in the water and paddle out the shark nets off Moffats. The course will follow the shark nets at Currimundi, Bokarina, Warana, Buddina around Pt Cartwright and into the swamp. As this is a Club paddle all paddlers stick to this course. At the swamp change clothes etc and carpool back to Moffats to get the other cars. It would be appreciated by your fellow paddler that you stick around until the job is done.
BAR-B-Q back at the swamp. If this event proves popular we will do it again. NOTE: due to the weather the race course may be changed so stay turned. Most important is that we all have fun!!!

Working Bee - Clean Up
Working bee, shed construction, tidying up of grounds, clean canoes, move canoes etc etc .... lots to do. Sunday 8th July at the Swamp from 8.00am onwards, so if you can come for a while it would be much appreciated.
